Dr Mannie Sher kicked off our 2018 lunchtime talk series with his talk ‘Experience of Being 70 and over — an overview of the group relations conference’.

Mannie Sher directed the Group Relations Event for the Silver Generation (GR70) at the Festival celebrating 70 years of the Tavistock Institute. In this talk, Mannie presented his account of GR70, how the event turned out, what GR70 tells us about the experience of being 70 and older and how group relations as a method of social enquiry can be used to prepare us and society for the future of ageing.
