Graduation Day 2025

Graduation Day 2025

Graduates of our 2024/5 professional development programmes celebrate their achievements

In his opening address at our July 18 Graduation ceremony, Lucian Hudson, Chair of Council of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, said that today’s graduation marked two significant moments: that point at which a graduand becomes a graduate - as a little caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly; and when participants on our programmes can be truly said to have become Tavistockians.

For Tavistockians, it is more about leadership than leaders.

We learn through our professional development programmes that in group relations, we are social, rather than just individual, selves.

We are alert to the moment, receptive and reflective of unconscious, as well as conscious, forces at work.

A woman with long black hair and glasses holds papers and speaks, while a man in a suit smiles and listens. They are indoors, possibly in an office or classroom setting, with shelves and exposed pipes in the background.

All our graduates were warmly invited to join the Tavistock Community by representatives (pictured l-r) Alessandro Dolci, Detlev Kobus and Asta Binkauskaite at the celebration.

Three people sit on a light-colored couch in a modern, bright room with large windows. Two men wear white shirts, and a woman in a dark dress sits beside them. Tall buildings and greenery are visible outside the windows.
