Podcast: Does love matter? fear and compassion in organisations and leadership

Dr Eliat Aram (TIHR CEO) used a recent TIHR Lunchtime talk session to open up a heart-to-heart conversation about the ethics of love and the freedom in fearlessness.

– reflections from the TIHR CEO, ten years on.

Lunchtime Talk: 10 June 2015

Update: now available as a podcast.

Eliat Aram joined the Tavistock Institute ten years ago. Her first leadership task was of directing the Leicester conference. She later became the Tavistock Institute’s CEO. Over the years she has learnt tremendous amount on the art of management and certainly feels there is still much to learn, but there is one thread that has run through her leadership development journey that she is only now beginning to own. The thread is simple and complex; it is the unfathomable notion of love.

This is not an intellectual talk but an invitation to a heart-to-heart conversation about the ethics of love and the freedom in fearlessness. Or the freedom of loving fearlessly. Do join us on 10th June 1-2pm  @ 30 Tabernacle St.

If you would like to attend this conversation please send an email to talks@tavinstitute.org with your name, the talk date and title.

Every third Wednesday at the Tavistock Institute, staff, associates, trustees and partners have come together for these informal talks. Their intention is the provision of a space of debate and reflection between Tavistock staff, those who are or have been collaborating with us and other interested researchers and practitioners

You are welcome to bring your own lunch.

For more information on upcoming and previous talks, how to book or get more involved go to the dedicated Food for Thought webpages.
