The Food for Thought Lunchtime Talks series
Our Food for Thought Lunchtime Talks series has become a prominent and respected part of the Tavistock Institute calendar since 2008, providing the space for rigorous debate, reflection and the sharing of knowledge. The talks, currently taking place online, draw a broad and international attendance each month.
We are now extending the call for speakers and inviting you to submit a proposal for a future lunchtime talk.
Each talk lasts 1.5-hours and take place via Zoom, occurring on the third Wednesday of each month. In 2021 we will begin to experiment with the integration of online and face to face modes in order to continue to reach our dynamic global audience and regain the meaning and creativity gained from being face to face.
To be eligible to submit a proposal you will have either attended one of our professional development programmes, be part of the Tavistock Community, collaborated or worked with us on a project.
We want to receive proposals that engage with the Tavistock Institute approach and applied methodologies and their potential in tackling societal challenges. We are particularly interested in submissions that include the opportunity for discussion and utilise the online/hybrid space in inventive ways.

We anticipate that accepted talks will take place throughout 2021; while we will schedule these in accordance with speaker availability, please note the Lunchtime Talk series generally take place on the third Wednesday of each month, 1 pm – 2.30 pm (GMT/BST), therefore, you would need to be available during that time.
