A new workshop for uncertain times.
We are delighted to announce a new, workshop Anthropology Works is an opportunity to work with how you use your anthropological background to show up at work.
If you have ever wondered about how your training can support you better in your role and career progression, then this workshop is for you. It is led by Dr Sadie King, Principal Consultant / Researcher at the Tavistock Institute, and is for graduates and post-graduates in anthropology (or the equivalent) at any stage in their career.
Unlike any other anthropological workshop, Anthropology Works will combine Tavistock theories, practice examples and experiential learning together. Not only will it provide an opportunity for like-minded individuals to network, but you will also be invited to share your expertise and your feelings in the here-and-now. This workshop is a chance to explore and experiment against the backdrop of Covid-19 and virtual working.
Together, through presentations and participation, we will reassess the anthropological field as a way to support role, situational and organisation learning and examine how theories and skills from anthropology support thinking in this way.
Whether you are in a professional role in an organisation or working explicitly as an applied social scientist, find out more about the workshop and how it might benefit you here.
This workshop has now passed but please stay tuned for the new dates:
